BuildIt

BuildIt is an educational crafting game developed for AWIC – Awesome Women in Construction, in collaboration with H Squared Developers. Players engage in hands-on building, manage materials, interact with NPCs, and progress through the ranks by cutting wood accurately and selling creations to various shops. The game was built in Unity, focusing on a calm and engaging learning environment.

As the 3D Artist and Illustrator, I was responsible for designing and building the full game environment in Unity, creating 3D props in Autodesk Maya, illustrating all final NPC characters, and designing the in-game wallet UI. I contributed polished assets ready for implementation while collaborating closely with the team to maintain visual consistency and iterative improvements based on playtesting feedback.

This project strengthened my skills in Unity environment art and lighting, 3D modelling with Maya, 2D character illustration, asset integration and optimization, and collaborative game development workflows.
